Angio on Touch (AOT)*

The Remidio Angio-on-Touch can be used both as a screening device as well as a diagnostic imaging device given its ability to take high quality non mydriatic retinal images, as well as Mydriatic and Fluorescein Angiography images.

Validated High clarity images of the Retina on large format APSC sensors

Light collection optics, sensor resolution and sensor size directly influences the ability of a retinal imaging device to provide high resolution images, especially in low light conditions. The use of a large format APSC sensor with a 6 um pixel size, and 18 Mpx resolution, results in a high resolution image, validated to be at par with those from TOPCON TRC50Dx, and ZeissFF450 desktop imaging systems.

High Quality images detailing even tertiary vessels in the retina

The Angio on Touch Device uses xenon flash for illuminating the retina for fluorescein imaging, and not an LED light source. The high energy density of a Xenon Flash, made available within milliseconds of exposure, enables the delineation of even the tertiary vessels around the macula.

No strain to patients eye, unlike the Fundus Cameras using White light for Live view

The use of infra red live view enhances patient comfort during the image acquisition process, especially photophobic patients, who move their eyes around when imaged using continuous visible light sources.

Simple to use & highly reliable with no moving parts

Traditional retinal imaging systems use solenoids and other moving parts to engage filters during the image acquisition process, resulting in their higher cost of maintenance. The use of pre-engaged emission filters, appropriately designed to eliminate background illumination, eliminates the need for any moving parts in the design for engaging filters, during the angiography process.

Reduced corneal reflections unlike other Fluorescein Angiography devices using Spot illumination

Unlike low cost devices that use spot illumination methods for imaging the retina that often results in corneal reflex artefacts, the Remidio Angio On Touch uses a patented annular illumination optical design to eliminate corneal and purkinje reflexes.

User friendly controls & Touch Interface to adjust the Live view & Flash intensity levels

The use of a capacitiative, touch sensitive interface to control flash and live view intensities enables an intuitive interaction similar to that seen on consumer devices like smartphones.
